Speaking of Myth |

Most likely, few of us would be speaking of myth if it was not for Joseph Campbell. For many of us, the Power of Myth with Bill Moyers opened, re-opened, awakened forgotten
memories or just plain inspired us into looking more deeply into the matters of myth (see http://mythmatters.com ). This site is inspired by the spirit and inquiring mind of Campbell and dedicated to exploring developments in the world of myth, mythology, mythography and other related fields.
We will introduce you to some of the most influential and exciting minds working in the field of mythology today--researchers, teachers, students and explorers will be interviewed and reviewed for their
contributions to the field. We begin by featuring a teacher of note: Evans Lansing Smith, Ph.D. More about him below. Furthermore, since I am the creator of this site--part of an extensive, elaborate and
fairly deep network of sites dedicated to the world of myth--inspired by the work of Joseph Campbell, I thought I should introduce myself. |
